Hard Case : Design Pillars
MOOD BOARDS: We started with an exploration of aspirational mood boards to evolve our existing design pillars and then wove the appropriate images into our updated design pillar story.
HERITAGE-BORNE With homage to legacy as the lens in which to view the long and varied history of products and how they impact today’s design, we begin to have a more inclusive and comprehensible understanding of this pillar.
Products in this design pillar are certainly new and with features relevant to today, but are styled in such a way as to harken back while also looking forward. These products are Heritage-Borne.
CONTEMPOARY-CHIC: Sleek, styled, ubiquitous - today’s technology has become such an essential part of our lives both in keeping us connected as well as being a part of how we express who we are.
So it only makes sense that the products we use to support our technology also reflect these same modern styled aesthetics. They can best be described as Contemporary-Chic.
DYNAMIC-NOMAD: Whether on your way to the gym, hauling gear to latest gig, peddling down the highway or carrying all your lenses and batteries - products in this design pillar are made to support and enhance whatever you’ve set out to do.
From specially designed features, to engineered ruggedness, these products help you get from point A to B with the security, reliability and authenticity you’ve come to depend on from Targus. Much like you, these products are Dynamic-Nomad.
